About Us
The Farm
Quebec is not the most hospitable place to start a farm. The winters are cold and long. But we think it is one of the most nourishing places on the planet. Its thousands of miles of continuous forests mean it has some of the cleanest air in the world, it has abundant water and in our little corner where our farm sits, it has unsurpassed beauty with its views of the St. Lawrence River.
We started La Ferme À Ciel to regenerate soil and to explore what healthy soil practices can do for a piece of land. As Mike explored the relationships behind letting nature do its thing the connection between healthy soil healthy plants and healthy people became clear.
